Playhouse provides a variety of scheduling and class options to accommodate family needs.
Preschool 2½ to 4½ years old
- 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
- 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
- 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
- 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
TK Kindergarten for children who turn 5 by February.
- 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
- 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
- 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Our usual schedule options are listed below:
1. Young Half Day Preschool Coop/Non-Coop Option
9:00 AM to 12:00 or 1:00 PM three, four, or five days a week, September through June. This program is designed for children ages 2½ to 3½. A child must be 2½ by September to participate. The class offers the option of registering as a Co-op or Non-Co-op parent. Cooping parents work in the classroom on a regular basis; Non Cooping parents are not required to work in the classroom but are welcome to volunteer.
2. Older Half Day Preschool Coop/Non-Coop Option
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM three, four, or five days a week, September through June. This program is designed for 3 and 4 year olds. The class offers the option of registering as a Co-op or Non-Co-op parent. Cooping parents work in the classroom on a regular basis; Non Cooping parents are not required to work in the classroom but are welcome to volunteer.
3. Full Day Preschool
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM three, four or five days a week, September through June. For children ages 2½ to 4½. Early drop-off from 7:30 am is available. All Day School continues into the afternoon and is designed to meet the needs of children whose parents need an extended day schedule. Parent participation is welcome.
4. Transitional Kindergarten
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, five days a week, September through June. This program is designed for children who turn 5 by February. The class combines the Playhouse philosophy with a greater academic emphasis. Full day is available. Parent participation is welcome.
